We have Volunteer Coordinators in Florida and Virginia.

On-line Community Volunteer Coordinator Meetings

• New Volunteer Coordinator meetings are held on Tuesday's at 6 PM PST (9 PM EST).
• Regular Volunteer Coordinator meetings are not currently scheduled, but held with the general membership meetings (we anticipate a change to that in the near future). The chatroom is always open for any local chapter who may need to discuss something regarding their specific community.
• Other scheduled meetings will be advised via email, and posted on the SOC-UM Chat Page.
• The SOC-UM Chat Page is always availabe for information, support, and interaction between the SOC-UM National Board of Directors, Community Volunteer Coordinators, Volunteers, and/or Member Organizations.

• The promotion of volunteer training and development for activites related to the monitoring of pedophile activities;
• URL searches and retrievals for predator Website lists;
• Letter writing campaigns;

• Posting and dissemination of education,awareness, and legislation (Federal & State);
• Grant writing;
• Assistance with the SOC-UM division of WE-CAN (Web Emergency - Child Alert Network missing child project);
• Administrative details;
• Kids areas development; and
• A new and upcoming SOC-UM issue -- finding information on parole hearings, so victim voices can be more clearly heard.
