On May 27, 1985, Troy Clyde Kamekona murdered his wife, Susanmarie (Bunny) Pascale. Their divorce was to have been final
in two days. He drove to her house with a loaded gun and a bag of ammunition on the front seat. Shooting off the doorknob, he
then pushed his way in. Her neighbors and her three-year-old son, who was upstairs at the time, heard her screams, begging for
her life. He shot her a number of times, leaving 18 bullet holes in her body. Kamekona was convicted of second-degree murder
and sentenced to 17 years to life. He will have served just 11 years when he is considered for parole on June 13, 2001.
We, the undersigned, STRONGLY OPPOSE the parole/early release of Troy Clyde Kamekona. Justice demands that he serve
the full prison term given to him at the time he was sentenced for this heinous crime.
