You will find here many stories of childhood sexual abuse. If you are a survivor yourself, please be aware that some of these stories could be a trigger for you -- so be sure you are feeling strong before proceeding.

To everyone else, if you are offended easily, you might want to go elsewhere, because these stories are necessarily very honest and forthright -- and because they deal with sexual abuse, they are sometimes graphic in their descriptions.

If you possibly can, however, please -- read their stories! No one would listen to them as children -- please hear them now.

Read and learn how often the monster is someone trusted by the victim and the victim's family.... Read and learn how often the child is not believed....

Read and learn how devastating the effects of sexual abuse are....

Each person who shared their story has found a different way to deal with the pain -- from religion to shamanism. Some have found a path to normalcy, some are still struggling with the healing process. But ALL were brave enough to share their stories with the world -- and to STOP the Silence!!

TO SURVIVORS: If you need help right away, I highly recommend that you visit the Survivor Forum -- it is very active and full of warm, wonderful people who are survivors like you. Don't be afraid to jump in and post right away or just hang out and monitor things until you feel safe..... Everyone is welcomed immediately and we all give each other a lot of love and support. Please feel free to join us!

Please don't stop sending your stories; they are saved and safe on my hard drive -- but please know that it WILL be a while before they are posted.....
